Pros:Awesome sound and graphics
Cons:Not for those who do not like trains
The Bottom Line: Buy it and scream ALL ABOARD! Your wife/husband may get mad at you!

This is probably the best train sim on the market that I have ever seen. The graphics are wonderful and the sounds are just as impressive.

Having played Railroad Tycoon for the last million years (or so it seems) this sim actually makes it a first person driving a train.

There are six different routes that you can take and control up to 10 different engines. I have worked with the diesel and the electric. I have not tried the steam as everyone that I have talked to says that the steam locomotives are the hardest.

With such intense graphics and sound, I am running it on a Pentium 3 600 mhz Sony Vaio Laptop. It runs extremely well and I have no complaints about the game.

One thing that I do not like, is the fact that the manual is in PDF format. So if you want a manual you have to print it out yourself...(96 pages). There are some good pointers in the manual and the quick guide instructs you to read the PDF file before you start the game.

However, if your into sims and tired of flight sims give this one a try....
