Poetry by Jag2112 - "At First Sight"

Jun 07 '02

The Bottom Line As my wife and I approach the 7th anniversary of our first date, I thought I'd share some of the poetry that I wrote for her.

Another poem I wrote for my future wife back when we were dating.

Looking forward to your comments...

Thanks for reading,

John

At First Sight

Whispering that I love you,
turns your frown into a gentle smile.
I catch your gaze and hold you,
your vision lasts forever in my mind.

Caressing your body softly,
sends my soul into an endless flight.
Touching your face I reminisce,
how we held each other on a summer's night...

I knew then,
that we would be together every night.
For my heart fell in love with you,
At first sight.

Walking hand in hand,
we look ahead to joyful togetherness.
And on each and every morning,
our love will be sealed forever by a kiss.

Holding your body close to me,
sends my heart into a heavenly ride.
Forever breathless at your beauty,
I need you now and always by my side.

I know now,
that we will be together every night.
For my soul will always fall in love with you,
At first sight.
