I placed an order for 2 magazines on July 6, 2006. I had not received my magazines as of last week and so I sent an e-mail to the company asking what the problem was. I received a reply from a Meagan stating that it can take up to 20 weeks for magazines to start and that some publishers were behind on processing their orders. (Sure!!!) I then contacted one of the magazines that I had ordered ( The Sporting News) and they told me that they have not received any request for a subscription from Mags for Less for me. I then tried to send 2 e -mails to the company to tell them what the Sporting News had said and I have failed to receive a response. I am basically writing off ever seeing my money back from them.
But, I just filed a complaint with the New York Attorney Generals office and I am going to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. They have quite a few complaints about similar things happening to people on file. I hope everyone will file a complaint with The New York Attorney Generals office (GOOGLE it) and with the BBB. It may not have been a huge some of money, but, it still is my money!!! Only if people take the time to file a complaint ( it only takes a few minutes) will be able to rid the net from crooks who take people's money and don't deliver the goods!
