The Bottom Line Be careful...
There are certain mistakes that you should never make when writing an epinion. Here is a list of them: -DON'T PLAGURIZE Now, I have read many epinions that sounded exactly the same as all the rest. It's as though they just copied and pasted the same thing and took credit for it. Now, obviously, you won't be well liked if you do that, so be original, don't copy one just because it got a very helpful rating. Or, as the quote goes, be a cow in a world of cats, or something like that. -DON'T LIE Now, obviously, people are going to notice if you don't have the slightest idea what you are talking about, just trying to make some moola fast. For example: I read a review one time that talked about Monsters, Inc. having Saddam Hussein in it. Do you believe that? -DON'T MAKE EPINIONS BRIEF You should always make epinions well-detailed and interesting. You don't want it to sound like you're trying too hard, yet you don't want to sound like an idiot. -DON'T EXPECT PEOPLE KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT An example: If you are writing an epinion about the game StarCraft, do you think people who have never played it will know what a Terran is? And last, but not least.... -DON'T EXPECT TO ALWAYS GET A GOOD RATING BECAUSE YOU WROTE A LONG EPINION I mean, sure, you could write a long epinion, but it won't always get a good rating just because of the length. It depends on the quality of the work and how much effort was put into it. So..have a great day, and keep writing good reviews! |
