I knew you would come around to the perverse side of epinions... roll with it, you'll love the excitement of it all... then you'll feel horribly lonely and hot at the same time... Everytime I do one of those reviews, I find myself pondering over whether or not a dating service might be the right option...hahaha.. so sad! ;0

Well... I felt like I just got 'told'! hahaha... It wasn't the greatest movie ever, but I did like it for what it was. Not really my bag generally, but it did entertain and I guess that's what it's main purpose was anyway. Definitely something different, that's for sure. I normally try to stick to comedies as much as possible... just more my style anyway.
Now the vaseline and an enema... what exactly is the enema for? I understand the vaseline... but why is the enema necessary? Maybe I don't fully understand the crazy aspects of the gay relationship... but woah! ;0

I hang with gay men all the time. I also have some lesbian friends but my friendship with the gays is more intense. I am completely NOT homophobic, I love drag queens and queers alike, but I HATED this movie.
I thought the acting sucked. I thought the story line was depressing. And, and my gay friends would say, there is NO WAY the first sex scene (the intense romp in the tent) could have happened without some vaseline and an enema.
It was just so unrealistic and totally boring.
But hey, I am glad you've grasped your 'open minded' self. ;)

It just doesn't make any sense... it's not like you hating the concept is going to make it go away, just live with it. Just because I dislike stupid people, doesn't mean that they are going to go away... so you just deal with it and move on.

Would've loved to see this when it came out, but wouldn't you know it, our theater didn't show it for fear some people would raise a ruckus *Rolls eyes*. I agree wholeheartedly with your sentiments on the issue as well-I don't get why homosexuality bothers people so much, either. Just get over it already, people, sheesh. Strange world we live in sometimes.
Anywho, excellent overview, you made me want to find this movie even more.
