If you like looking at beautiful and amazing pictures on the internet and was wondering if there was a website or software package that allows you to get those pictures from one place...then you need to check out Webshots (www.webshots.com) This website offers over 4million pictures which are placed in different catorgies for easy navigation. To be able to get these pictures onto your desktop, you will need to download a small program called the Webshots Desktop. This program allows you to download and manage all the photos you get. The webshots program is less than 1.5meg to download and it just sits in your windows tray, when it is mimumized. Before you download this program you do have to sign up at the website...but that only takes a couple of minutes...Once you have signed up, then you are able to download any pictures you want from their site.
One of the best features this site has is the daily picture. You are able to get 2 pictures a day, and they are always different and never any of the pictures in the catorgies.
You are also able to set the pictures as your screen savers, and set them as your backgrounds automatically. You are also able to upload your own pictures and use them to.. There is an option where you can send the pictures as e-cards (free) or you can purchase posters of the different pictures for a small fee.
I would recommend webshots to anyone who likes lots and lots of pictures and wont get tired of seeing different ones each day. As they do rotate everyday.
