As a college student living without the luxury of a washing machine or dryer in my apartment, I soon discovered that hauling a large bottle of laundry detergent to the laundromat AND all my laundry is not the most convenient or easiest task to accomplish. But then I discovered All Small and Mighty laundry detergent.

Weighing in at 32 fluid ounces and only 10 inches tall, All Small and Mighty washes 32 loads - just as many as its larger counterpart - yet takes up very little shelf space and is easy to carry. Not only that, but it also comes in a variety of scents, my favorite being Wild & Fresh and Fresh Rain. And for those with sensitive skin there's Free Clear made without any perfumes or dyes.

The bottle makes it very clear how much detergent to use per load of laundry - fill the bottle cap up to the first line for normal loads, and up to the second line for large loads. But then again, it doesn't specify between large loads and normal loads, and the fill lines aren't clearly marked on the bottle cap so you really end up approximating load size and the amount of detergent to use.

At first I was skeptical about the small size. I didn't think that my clothes would really get clean with only a small amount of detergent. But I was wrong - my clothes come out clean and fresh every time.

And for those who shop for environmentally friendly products, All Small and Mighty provides the following facts at their website www.all-laundry.com : one bottle of All Small and Mighty requires half the amount of plastic and corrugated cardboard to produce, one third the amount of diesel to transport, and one quarter of the amount of water required to produce the standard 100 ounce bottle of detergent.
