The office hours are ridiculous. Monday through Friday, 7-5pm? Thats when everyone goes to work! So, I have to purposefully wake up extra early and make time for this call.
I was transferred five times, a sign that tells you they are so disorganized at AT&T that they don't even know which department to transfer me to. Between those five times, I had to answer an automated machine that asked same set of questions that sucked up another five minutes of my life, not to mention The etiquette of the four out of the five agents I talked to was okay, but, oh boy, let me tell you about that one. I was actually yelled at customer service agent who became frustrated at me for not being able to find a nonexistent three-digit number on my long distance bill. This painful, long process took 65 minutes. Thats right: 65 minutes. If you plan to sign up for AT&T, prepare to be yelled at by a customer service agent after you get transferred to all the departments they can imagine for 65 minutes.
There is almost nothing redeemable about AT&T. The service was functional at the time I had it, but the horrible customer service completely soured the entire experience. I wouldn't recommend AT&T to anyone, not even my worst enemy.
Let me close by saying I'm a stable man of moderate temperament. But that morning, when I dealt with customer service for that one hour, that almost made me cry.
