Simply WoW: A Simple Way to Clean Around the House

Cons: Strong scent, leaves streaks on some surfaces.
The Bottom Line: An overall good general-purpose cleaner to have around the house, Simply WoW performed very well for most of our cleaning needs.

We have a boundless supply of messes around our house, so I was very excited to receive a 22 ounce bottle of Simply WoW cleaner and degreaser to try and review for Epinions. The day it arrived we had suffered through a "cat yak" on our cream-colored carpet in the bedroom, and there were plenty of other messes in the house that were begging for some attention from Simply WoW as well.
About Simply WoW
Simply WoW is a biodegradable cleanser and degreaser, and is suitable to use on a number of surfaces, as well as in the laundry as a pre-washing agent. Caution should be taken to avoid ingesting the product, or getting it into your eyes.
Using Simply Wow
On Carpets
As soon as I got the bottle out of the package I screwed in the spray top and went straight for the cat stain on the carpet. I sprayed the stain well and after a few moments set about scrubbing it with a cloth. In just a few moments, the carpet looked as good as new!
On Kitchen Surfaces
We have dark countertops in our kitchen, and it's hard to see the splatters and grease left behind from daily cooking. I often have to soak the counters to make sure that everything gets brought up without hard abrasives. I was pleased to find that Simply WoW worked very well on countertop messes and that dirt came up with a quick wipe, no soaking required!
On Our Black Cooktop
The black cooktop in our kitchen is the cleaner-killer. A cleaner that performs well everywhere else is almost certain to flub on the super-reflective surface. Sadly, Simply WoW gave the same performance, leaving streaks all over the surface that later had to be cleaned with a glass-type cleaner. Technically Simply WoW got the grease up, but it left too much residue behind.
Overall Impressions
Overall I was pleased with Simply WoW but it didn't stand out high above any of my other regular household cleaners. It has a slightly chemical scent, that wasn't terrible but wasn't exactly pleasant either.
Simply WoW is a good all-purpose cleaner, but it would be great if somehow it could clean without streaking shiny reflective surfaces. I recommend this product if you're looking for a quick and easy cleaning solution around the house. You'll still need some other cleaners for the tougher jobs and for reflective surfaces, but Simply WoW is a pretty solid, all-around cleaner.
