| klumberg's Full Review: Qwest Mobile Phone Service in Minneapolis/St_Paul |
I am a carpenter traveling around the Twin Cities metro for work every day with a wife and five month old baby at home. The Qwest 300/1000 wireless plan has been very helpful in helping me manage my life. At $34.10 per month it is less expensive than most comparable plans. It is also a PCS system which makes the calls very clear. The best thing about the plan is the One Number service and voice mail alert. When someone dials my home phone number and leaves a voice message my wireless phone beeps and I can listen to that message remotely. I can also have all calls dialed to my home number routed to my wireless phone first. This comes in very handy when expecting important calls or on the road with the family. The 1000 weekend minutes also are great for keeping in touch with our family members who live out of state since the plan includes free long distance. The only downfall of the plan is the limited coverage area. When traveling outside the Twin Cities I am force to pay the dreaded roaming charges which add up quickly.
