Pros:Large comfortable seat, good storage below, great canopy.
Cons:Poor handle design, not too sound.
The Bottom Line: Poor handle design may lead to not so happy ending.

OK, so my son was not actually hurt by this product but he very easily could have been.

I researched this stroller for months, I selected it for its light weight, padded seat and large canopy. I really felt comfortable with my choice and was reassured by the salesperson that Combi was a reliable company. Boy was I proved wrong.

My son was one year old and weighed approximately 20lbs when the handle broke off in the middle of a very busy New York City street. My mother (who is petite) was pushing him and to get over a bump in the road pushed down on the handle only to have it snap off in her hands and send my son in the rest of the stroller sailing across the street! Thankfully she caught up with him and he seemed to enjoy the ride. Needless to say it scared the living daylights out of her and me when I saw her pushing my kid in half a stroller through the door.

I called Combi to let them know that there was a flaw in the design of their stroller and was met with the most unhelpful customer service. I was told that the accident was my mother's fault for pressing down on the handle to lift the front wheels and had I read the instructions it clearly states not to do this. (Evidently to go over an obstacle or curb you must turn the stroller around lift the back wheels up - how inconvenient!) I tried to explain that this was a hazard and that they should reconsider this model if it poses a danger, but was rebuffed and told that my warranty had expired so there was nothing they could do to help me. I asked to speak to a supervisor because I was more concerned with the safety aspects of the design and wanted my incident to be recorded. I was denied my request but offered a new stroller (same model) to replace the one that broke. I declined their offer (who wants another unreliable stroller) and have written to the company but have never heard back.

I have since replaced this stroller with a $20.00 umbrella stroller which works quite well.
