Scam artists!!!

After reading all the horror stories from other consumers who state that they have purchased magazine subscriptions through mags on the net and have not gotten what they have paid for, I suggest you do the following:
Contact the NYS Attorney General's office. Call 518-474-7330, which is their executive office, and ask to speak with someone in Consumer Fraud Bureau regarding internet fraud. I've filed my complaint. File one, too. The more complaints they have the better it will be for all those who have been scammed by them.
I have paid for a 3 year subscription to a magazine, and the shipping label on the first magazine I got stated my subscription was for only one year. Trying to contact mags on the net was futile, as they don't seem to respond to phone or e-mail inquiries. I have contacted my credit card company for a refund. When I did, suddenly mags on the net increased my subscription to 2 years. I am still cheated out of one year.
Come on folks. Stop complaining and take charge. Calling the Better Business Bureau won't work unless this company is a member of the Better Business Bureau. And being that they are only out to scam the public, I doubt very much that they are paying members. Call the NYS Attorney General's office. (I've also contacted the FBI, but they have told me to go to the State level.)
Let's all stand up and fight together. There is strength in numbers.
Another thing you can do: Call the INVESTIGATIVE NEWS TEAM of your local television network. Let them know that THOUSANDS of consumers are being scammed by this company. If enough people do this, eventually it will be looked into by the media. Just the voice we need to bring this situation into the limelight and get the attention it needs, so that others don't get duped like we have been.
