Windowbox.com is a somewhat similar site, although its focus is more on balcony gardens and such. But they do have interesting information about what grows best in what conditions. The company I work for worked on their website, which is how I know about it...

yes, I did like their site as well, and that is neat about the billboard - a "living" billboard, sorta.....
I for one will miss them.....but Burpee is a good company also...

it's funny that you reviewed garden.com they have a billboard that i always see driving along which simply says "garden.com" and it actually has plants growing on it. well it tried to at least. i'm living in an organic gardening theme house next year and i actually used garden.com last year to research plants and gardening issues for washington. i agree with you that garden.com is a great website, i wasn't aware that Burpee Seeds is taking control. Great review!
