We Weren't Deadheads but.... (Reply to this comment)
by QuinnElaine
We were the all night coffee drinkers at our local Eat n' Park. We weren't always able to tip well, but we did try. The servers were always great and happy to see us. Ah those were the days. :) Fascinating tale you've got going here. I especially had to laugh at the 'fragrant' bills you aquired, as we have all come across those from time to time and wondered what stories they would tell if only they could. Wishing You Laughter, Q

I think the world has room for two books on the topic, Jen. Go for it!
Your story is fantastic, thus far. I am on my way to read part 2...NOW!
I'm so glad you found my work because it enabled me to find yours - an Epinions hidden treasure.

...spellbound, and I can't wait for the second installment.
Ahhhh Patchoulli Oil....that was a staple, back in the day. LOL
I think everyone should have to work for the public at some point in their lives. It would give everyone a better appreciation for how hard people work.
Keep up the great writing...oh, and thanks for adding me to your notifications at Peter's site...:)...kath

Thanks for sharing your crazy encounters with customers. That was very entertaining! And I thought suburban movie-goers were weird...
