The Bottom Line I wrote this after an argument with someone ... use your red pens sparingly.
awaiting the quiver and crumble, we fumble for redemption under blankets of warmth and shadow adrift in a scarlet sea, we sift through the impact of words and assumptions and caught in a blank expression, she stands before the whispers, staring through the aftermath and breaking me apart ---------- Apparently, this poem doesn't have enough words to be submitted without some sort of commentary about how many words it has. And, apparently the commentary about the poem's length has to be really rather longer than I would have made it otherwise. What's more, despite working in the employ of Epinions, I seem to have forgotten just how many words are required before a review can be submitted. Hopefully, this is enough. |
