Cons: Results were no better than similar cheaper products. Smell was distasteful.
The Bottom Line: I wouldn't buy it. You may try it just because it offers a Money Back Guarantee.

There are hundreds of new odor removers out on the market. I don't know if we are just more sensitive or is our generation just smellier or what?
I have had many reasons to go out and try these new odor removers over the past 2 years. When we moved a year ago my dear hubby spilled a gallon of milk in my mini van and forgot about it in JULY! It was one of the worst smells I have ever encountered. I went into my car after it sat there for 3 days in the 90-100 degree heat and my oh my you would have thought you were in a kennel! I scrubbed the car clean, I bought some of those odor removers (Febreeze and some others) and then I paid to have the car detailed by a shop. Nothing worked. That spray helped for a short period, but once it rained the odor was back. It was like that Seinfeld episode when he left the car... Well finally after many scrubbings, I went out and bought a carpet cleaner myself and scrubbed the car clean for 2 hours and the smell finally dissipated. Don't get me wrong; it still lingers especially after a heavy rain. The best odor remover ended up being Lysol disinfectant (kills viruses, bacteria, mold & mildew) for that one except that smell was worse than the milk after I sprayed it. Once the Lysol odor was gone, the nasty milk odor really lost its power.
The other issues I face is I have 3 boys who love milk and I have cloth covered kitchen chairs and an area rug under the kitchen table. The spills and the subsequent clean ups and odor removal attempts... Lastly my husband and 2 sons wrestle and that odor from those wrestling shoes and that wrestling bag is just plain awful!
So after trying many odor removal products that really didn't work (Lysol was the most effective) I was excited to try the new product Simply WoW Odor Annihilator. It claims to have triple action and that it doesn't just remove the odor, it annihilates it by removing the source of the odor. It also says that it contains a bacteria, which sort of frightens me. Sounds like the same claim on other similar products, but this time I hoped it would really work.
The bottle is a 22 oz white bottle with blue and yellow stickers and a black spray top. It retails for around $6 a bottle from the Simply WoW website which is very expensive in comparison to similar products (I normally pay around $3-4 for Febreeze or Lysol). It has 2 spray options of mist and direct. It also has a Money Back Guarantee (there are no details, but they have a phone number and their website is simplywow.com! Bottle is pretty basic looking and nothing special in its appearance that would make me just want to go out and buy it. It is sold on the simplywow.com web site and sold for automobiles although the bottle directions are for all odors.
The directions say that you should remove excess spills, apply the Simply WoW liberally over the surface and agitate with a wet cloth or sponge. Rinse surface with a clean wet sponge as needed to effectively clean the stain. It says the odor will be gone within 10 minutes. A few more steps than similar products, but the extra scrubbing should help so why not? This is what I did first on my van and then on my kitchen seat cushions.
The results. The product claims to be a "clean scent", but I thought it smelled like a cheap baby care product. It left an odor that I really disliked behind. Hopefully, like the Lysol that smell would dissipate and the other smells would be gone too. Reality was the product smell went away, but some of the odors remained. I tried again with the same results and really couldn't stand the smell.
Simply WoW was no better than other less expensive products and simply smelled much worse to my senses. I did not see better results and could not see spending the extra money for this product. I don't like the idea of using a bacteria to eliminate smells and I don't know what other ingredients this product contains. The only reason you may want to try it is they offer the money back guarantee.
I overall gave this product an average review as it did help eliminate odors but, did not completely remove them and I really disliked the smell. Not one of the best products available in this category, but I have tried worse that just masked the smells.
I received a free bottle of this product from Source Direct in exchange for my honest opinion of it. I thank them for the chance to try it.
