Yup, you're close. It's French (five years of French class must've done something for me) for April, and Lavigne means "the vine." Not sure if that has any significance put together, but it's still cool. I've kinda held back on buying CDs lately, but I just might have to get hers. Thanks for coming by to read...

I know, that is the coolest name. I spent like the first two weeks calling her "April" by mistake before I finally got it right. If I'm not mistaken, I saw the word "Avril" somewhere in a movie recently, Minority Report or some such, and my best guess is that it is German for "April". I dunno. Her CD is really good.
