In our household dryer sheets is a normal part of the laundry routine. This is a habit that likely was influenced by my Mother, as she –too- used dryer sheets. Over the years I’ve used various brands: Downy, Bounce, Snuggle. Currently Downy April Fresh is my preferred dryer sheet brand, but I am open to trying other scents and brands. Bounce with Febreze Citrus & Light Dryer Sheets is the most recent dryer sheet that I tried.
Bounce with Febreze Citrus & Light Dryer Sheets are tri-fold style, and –like other dryer sheets- are packaged in a rectangular shaped cardboard box. The box I received had 70 sheets in it. The Citrus & Light fragrance seeped through the packaging, emitting –in this consumers view- an obvious Febreze scent. The dryer sheets are traditional bounce with regard to size, texture, color and fold. I appreciate the ease of removal from the box and definitely feel that the box contains an appropriate amount of dryer sheets. Often times I like to tear or cut the sheets into half or thirds. These aren’t likely to tear but you can cut them. I don’t feel that these sheets can be used a second time. But I did use them to dust off the television.
In my view the fragrance is very (perhaps too) strong out of the box. The scent was nearly overpowering from the box and clearly evident in the laundry room. However the scent emitted on dried clothing is mild, offering a pleasant slightly citrus, definitely fresh scent. I am happy to report that the scent doesn’t overpower or conflict with those of soaps, colognes or perfumes used on the body. I am most appreciative of the Febreze Citrus & Light scent on towels, as it is fresh and crisp but not overpowering. The mild fragrance enhancement, on finished laundry, is a welcomed attribute.
Bounce with Febreze Citrus & Light Dryer Sheets offer a mild softening to towels. These sheets definitely assist with no-static on finished laundry, which is the primary reason I use dryer sheets. I loathe dealing with the sparks and stick together fuss of static containing laundry! And I cannot stand articles of clothing sticking to me.
Although I initially liked these dryer sheets, unfortunately it appears as though my skin didn’t. I broke out in hives, and the only change made was use of these dryer sheets. I have not experienced this type of reaction with any other dryer sheet. So, as is understandable I will not be purchasing these sheets.
It is my view that consumers who are fond of Bounce dryer sheets, citrus scents, and the Febreze brand will –likely- appreciate these.
