As far as the air-time quality goes I can hold my own against my roommate's AT&T wireless and my Dad's Sprint phone service. Yes, the calling area included under the flat-rate agreement in somewhat limited, but the high volume of local calls that I place justify putting up with a more tedious long-distance plan. By requiring a pre-paid account you are ensured that your bill won't be astronomical from those calls you may have forgotten about. Furthermore,if your budget won't allow for a splurge one month it is a great self-control mechanism to implement! I have called the retailer with a few minor questions, only to find the employees happy to furnish me with answers or possible solutions to my dilemmas. In fact, 6 days after buying the Nokia phone from Cricket I saw an advertisement at another retail outlet for $25.00 cheaper. I called my Cricket rep. and he immediately offered me a credit to my bill, or cash back in the form of a company check! Now that's service! I'm happy as a cricket in an endless mountain valley.
