I had purchased a Canon EOS Rebel XTi Black Body from WolfCamera.com on Friday, November 3rd. Later that night, I called customer service after having noticed the words on my order status "Call Customer Service to Confirm shipping instructions". I call them and my phone died right as the customer service rep answered. I used a different phone to call and they repeatedely hung up on me until an indian man answered.
Since I had ordered my camera on a Friday, I chose "Saturday Delivery" shipping, which is $36.99. The Indian man had told me that my Camera would be sipped on November 10th, and I would recieve it on the 11th. I said "WHAT?" He told me you that if you chose Saturday delivery, you had to have ordered it before 9:30 AM Eastern Time (I believe). So If you order it after 9:30, they cannot place the order that night, instead you wait a week for the to place the order. So Pretty much I was paying $37.00 for what seemed like ground shipping for free instead.
So He told me to replace the order (He had cancelled my old after I refused to pay $37 for a week long shipping), and since I had paid using Paypal, he could not complete the new order over the phone and told me to replace the order on the website and choose next business day delivery and I would recieve it on Nov 7th. I thought to myself, "This is ridiculous".
I had done so. I replaced my order and expected to recieve it Tuesday. Days went by before tuesday and still my camera showed up under my order status as "In Stock and Reserved". I had not recieved a shipping or tracking number yet and my paypal account hadnt been charged yet. As of tuesday, Nothing had changed. I got home from work at around 11 last night, and called Wolf Camera Customer Service. Apparently they get a lot of calls at 11 PM because I was on hold for few minutes waiting for the next rep. They told me everything was fine and they were waiting for me to confirm the order. They told me that my camera would be shipped out that very same night, and I would have it at my door tomorrow (Today, November 8th). Now, I have recieved it yet, but as of this morning, no tracking number, and still "In stock and Reserved".
After reading a few reviews from this website, and Very concerned about my order because it took me 2 Months to save $830.00 for this camera and I only wish I could get it as soon as possible. However, it seems that the are determined to keep me dissatisfied up until I take my business somewhere else.
