I agree with you... (Reply to this comment)

in my opinion WW is the best program to go with.
Although I've never been on a diet program(note* I'm not saying I don't need to*) I do believe that WW's teaches you how to shop and cook smartly...without buying foods that are prepackaged. They teach you how to lose the weight properly, not how to rely on their products like JC.
Great review!

Why can't I select "most helpful"? Must be a new "priviledge" for advisors and above? Sigh. My how things have changed. One thing that hasn't changed is the quality of the your reviews! I always learn something when enjoying your reviews Casey!
Thanks for the warm welcome back Casey! Your and Helen's comments really hit home. (I was so touched).

I have toyed with the idea of Jenny Craig but always stuck with WW...The problem is, as with all diet programs, you have to stick with it!!! for life!!!...I do lean Cuisines a few nights a week, along with a salad and seem to be able to maintain that way...but to lose I have to go to meetings..I need the structure just knowing I have to weigh in....:(
Thanks for the intersting and informative review as always

Margaret,
I remember reading your review when I was researching this topic, to see what people thought of the Platinum and Gold level memberships.
The "Consultants" have a mere 7 days training program, and have quotas in terms of food and other brand products, such as the expensive motivational tapes you mentioned in your review.
Any time they bring in the Office Manager/closer, e.g. heavy guns, they are planning a dog pile or upcharge of some sort. Some are intimidated into paying charges for plateus they convince you are cheating episodes.
That's the big turn off. That and the point you mentioned: lo unto the dieter who orders the less expensive boil-bag entrees versus the very expensive frozen ones. Can't make much of a profit margin off a cheap, savvy shopper, and I believe you even got the O.M. to the point of admitting you were buying a third less than average, right?
I'm truly holding onto my not unsubstantial belly right now, roaring with laughter. They certainly met their match when it came to you. Let the buyer beware, indeed!

When I was a mere newbie on this site, I wrote a review of Jenny Craig, in which I recounted how they tried to kick me out because, among other reasons, I wasn't spending enough money there each week. Not a program I recommend, but I sure did like your review, as usual!
