I will show you what you need and how you can have free internet access and email. Their are only a couple of free ISPs left and some are pretty good. You might be able to get a couple of them and use it for your needs. First you have to figure out what you want to use them for and make them work for you. If you want a free email service i recommend juno.com. They have a free email service that you click on it and it sends your mail. It is a good idea to use this service so you don't use up your free internet access on the other sites. Juno lets you have free internet access but it is only after 4 am eastern time if at all. The email service is free and works great so if you just want a email account this is it. It also saves you time on the other sites so you should get it. I recommend you get the free email and save your hours for surfing on the other services. Netzero offers 10 hours a month free and it works well for free. I never figured out the free email but i never really tried. Use this service for looking things up and surfing they also tell you when your time is up. Not bad for a start but we have more services to use. They slow down connection speed to make you want to buy their internet access. email is on the web so you have to use your time up just to get your email. juno wants you to buy their paid service for $9.95 a month. Problems will cost you $2 per minute for tech support. They also have faster service $14.95 but their is a better service below. Dot now is a free service with unlimited hours but you pay a one time fee of $25 to start. I have heard good and bad so it is up to you. Some say it is so slow and breaks down but you might as well try it if you need another free service. Their paid service is $9.95 and they charge for any service calls. They want to sell you a faster internet access for $14.95 a month but we have a better one listed below. Access 4 free is a one time payment of $4.95 and they give you 10 hours free each month. First thing is to watch your hours they charge you if you go over 10 and it is $1 a hour until $10 and the rest of the month is free after the $10 charge. use it as a secondary account. I use it for 9 hrs and then use my netzero account because they just stop access after 10 hours. The access for free works well and plenty of phone numbers. They do have a pop up banner that i hate. Address .com is a free service but you have to use the email so many times a month and they require you to do certain programs to earn them money to pay for the service. It is like one of the many services now asking you to complete tasks to earn money but it pays for the internet access. They have a banner ad that is a pain and many pop ups. The program is hard to get out of your computer. This is one major pain but i had no problem after i found the right place to get the free download to get it out. Try it if you need more time but you must do things for them or no internet access for you. I have seen some more services that you complete certain offers to get internet access but never tried them. They are the same as address.com and some what like netflip. The first thing you must do if you use free internet access is manage your time. Set up the free email at juno this saves alot of time for surfing and other things. Second make sure if you have a 56.k modem to change the modem on the free services. They usually use a 26.k modem speed and it slows every thing down. This is one way they make you want to buy the service and use up your time. They have all types of internet access from modem to high speed and from many companies. They have a good modem service for $9.95 a month. You get free spam and virus protection. Parental controls and answer phone calls while online. Best thing is this uses the new modem that is faster than regular dial up. They also have free cell phones and long distance services. Compare all your electronic needs on one site and you won't believe how much you can save.
