Dude,
I liked your list so much I decided to make my own. I waited a few weeks to write it so yours wouldnt' be fresh in my mind, and I was surprised at how many of the same games we picked. Even weirder is Dig Dug was my #11.

Off-Road and Smash TV are also two of my all-time favorites--both way over the top. The only other one I ever really got obsessive about was Rampart.

No, Space Invaders would be on my top ten Atari 2600 games, but not arcade because I never really played an arcade version. Dig-Dug was number 11. I love that game! There's something about the simple, almost tedious, games that make them the most enjoyable.
Thanks for the comment.

No Space Invaders?? (Reply to this comment)

I'm stunned! However, Galaga is still a kick, and there's one yet at Rolling Acres mall near where I live. Every so often I'll set the high score on it. I also liked Dig Dug. I miss the old classics.

I included MK II, it was number 4. I mentioned MK I because I think it was unique in its on right. I choose MK II because it was a great improvement on a fun game. With multiple fatalities, friendships and the like, it took a good game and made a whole heck of a lot better.
Thanks for the comment.

Great list. Good to see MK on your list, but what about MKII? It was hands-down better than the first.
