AOL and you!

The Bottom Line Final recommendation. AOL is at the top for obvious reasons but don't take my word for it, find out for yourself for free on a 45 day free trial.

Yes, I wish AOL was better too but....its still the best dial-up in the industry! Content, content, content!
Using the KEYWORD function is what its all about. If your child needs educational help, AOL provides live certified teachers to help them online! Whats that!? Your student needs to read a book and has been falling behind? Use KEYWORD "barrons" and they can get to AOLs condensed version of nearly any book they might have to read in school. Try KEYWORD, encyclopedia, dictionary, any school subject and I think you'll like what you find!
Sports, hobbies, and almost anything else one can think of is found on AOL. If not, simply look on the internet via AOL!
I used to work at AOL..........I hated every minute of it but, I do respect the ISP and everything it has to offer a Family of internet users!
By the way, if you ever need tech help, click on KEYWORD and get a live online tech who will walk you thru finding or fixing whatever it is you are working on and this is available 24 hours a day!
Don't forget about security! AOL leads the industry when it comes to parental controls! You can set timers for various screen names so your kids are'nt letting the internet absorb their lives completely and, this service also prevents kids from (intentionally or inadvertently) going to sites that are adult oriented.
Security at its best is found at AOL. A dynamic encryption system is used and this is why popular viruses that strike other ISPs (using an HTML text)are unable to effect AOLs operating system.
Techies don't like AOL because its too simple to use and they don't like the advertisements etc., but it never seized to amaze me when a Techie came to work at AOL with doubt in their minds only to eventually sit back in awe of what AOLs capabilites are compared to what they thought AOL was all about!
AOL is number one in the dial-up ISP industry for a reason and its well worth trying out to see for yourself especially now that AOL offers new members a 45 day free trial. He, as I mentioned, I don't like the company but until a better ISP comes along, AOL gets my money monthly.
