Sleeman's Cream Ale: A Favorite, Not So Hard To Find Beer... In Canada.

I've always been a sucker for a good story with a happy ending. Although the Sleeman Breweries story seems to be just getting started.

Thanks Drew,

Never one to miss an opportunity are you.

I'm beginning to understand a quote attributed to Charles Lamb, in the early 1800's, when he said, "I've been trying all my life to like the Scotchmen, and am obliged to desist from the experiment in despair."

"I expect I could find 100 words on just about anything if I really wanted to. Thankfully, I don't want to. "
Yes, we're all thankful for that!

BTW there is no truth to the rumour that copper wire was invented by two Scotsmen fighting over a penny!

Hi Drew,

Couldn't resist giving me a wee bit of a hard time now could yea.

Did you hear about the time the English man, the Irish man and the Scots man walked into a pub and ordered three pints of beer? When they arrived they each had a fly floating on top.

The English man said, "Good Lord, I shan't be able to drink this rubbish now."

The Irish just smiled, plucked out the fly and drank his beer.

The Scot grabbed the fly and began shaking him over the glass, yelling, "Spit it out! Ya damn wee bugger! Spit it out!

How are things in the Highlands lad?

Take care.

Thanks for stopping by to comment Carol.

This is my third review on beers, although, I don't expect to become the Lead in Gourmet any time soon. It's always nice to write about something a little different. A change being as good as a rest.

I expect I could find 100 words on just about anything if I really wanted to. Thankfully, I don't want to.

Take care,

Thanks Tom,

It's always daunting for me to write in your area of expertise.

I appreciate that you took time to leave your comments.

in your review topics, eh?

Nice review. I probably couldn't write more than 100 words on a brew.
