Wonderful Weekend

My wife and I head to the mountains each year for the long Veterans' Day weekend and have traditionally stayed in the chain boxes along the interstate. I found the Woodfield Inn by pure chance and decided to give it a try. We loved the inn. The room (Beaumont) was well decorated and well kept. The inn has added phones in each room along with a wired Internet connection. The Pub has wireless Internet available.

Breakfast was typical good Southern food (eggs, grits, hash browns, sausage, bacon, or ham, and biscuits). Our server was top notch.

The only (slight) downside was the lack of an elevator ... although the exercise did me a world of good.
