First off I have to say that it's true, voice comm while playing a game is definitely an advantage. Me and a friend would go in to a Counter-Strike(CS) room and just pretty much smoke dudes left and right. To be able to coordinate your moves and strategies in real time will put you over the top. Plus, if one of you dies, the other one can scout ahead and tell you where there are campers or if the other team is going down a particular hall, where they planted the bomb. The idea of being able to talk to either all of your teammates or single them out(up to 4) is also very good. That way you don't clog the net with useless traffic. The clarity through the speakers was very good for me, and my friend didn't have any problems understanding what I was saying.

The problem is that there are major conflicts. My friend and I tried to talk though the actual software that came with the hardware and couldn't get it to work. We tried all sorts of different stuff to no avail. We could talk just fine though messenger, which is what we ended up having to do. The command mode leaves much to be desired as well. Switching between weapons was an exercise in futility. For one it takes too long if the thing actually accurately recognizes which weapon you are asking for. Those who play online first person shooters know that if you're slow, you're dead.
