Some of these astringents do burn and leave my skin looking red and irritated. That's why I don't use them anymore.....

I was a big consumer of Clean & Clear products back in my high school days - particularly the astringent. It got rid of my pimples, but my skin was red all the time! Oh well. Better red than bumpy, I guess.
