I had a horrible experience. Now I like getting cheap stuff like the next girl. I thought "why not, for a buck." Well, their "free shipping" promotion was free shipping, but not free handling which added a few bucks -- but still, ok.
Until I waited 4 weeks, no communication and I called and canceled my order. Two weeks to the day, I got a box from them with all the stuff I ordered. Alrighty, I called the VERY next day to ask WHY. I was also in the process of disputing the charges on my card. I waited three days, no call back. On the third day, I sent an e-mail, called again and reported them to the FTC for violations. Pretty cool that the very next day I was called and told there were no charges for the box. Hmmm, wonder why?
Ok, so the whole point of my review, is to let everyone who posted a bad review know -- take your complaint to the FTC. (ftc.gov) The shipping times, if I read the rule correctly, on your confirmation should be held to -- despite the site. In addition, failure to cancel an order you canceled with them makes the box a gift -- and you shouldn't have to pay. Finally, they are required to ship within 30 days or communicate with you the correct timing. Since none of those things are done -- they are in violation of the FTC Rules and face serious fines. I'm all for warning the public -- but fill out a simple online form and report them for the bad practices!!
I should note -- don't report them to the FTC for their truly crappy customer service. Being horrible to customers isn't a crime -- won't make you stay in business long; but not a crime.
