| cruz610's Full Review: Dell Dimension 8100 Series |
I must say that in the past, I have loved Dell. I guess this was because I never really looked around at my other options. Nationally advertised computer company must have a good price correct? WRONG. When I purchased my other Dell computer a few years back, it seemed to give me good features for a good price. Since then, Dell has seemed to upped the prices too much. To get a top-of-the-line computer from them, you must be willing to spend at least 3500-4000 dollars. Even when you are spending that much money, you are not getting a very good price.
Let me ellaborate. [Excuse the Formatting]

Amazing. You can get a better processor (in almost every single test the 1.4 atlon has been almost 2x faster than the 1.7 p4) 2 hard drives (150GB storage, as to 80) and many other features. I dont mean to sound biased (although I am probably coming off as such) but for the price, you can be getting MUCH more for your money. Yes, the support is very good at Dell, but if the computer is good, support shouldnt be an issue!
Overall, they may have some lucritive deals, but in the end, you are being swindled out of your money!
