This is just my real quick and dirty bit about the SCH-3500. First off, don't get my ranting wrong later in this message, it is a really good phone. It is decently light weight, it has all the necessary features (and doesn't waste time on things like to do lists), it is easy to use and comfortable when talking so I have no real complaints.

My only word of warning is don't think it will be a replacement for the sexy flip phones out there. Sure, it flips but when you break it down sheerly on weight, it doesn't compete.

I convinced myself that it would somehow be lighter since it was a flip, and now I find myself saving to where I can buy a StarTac.

Another very important word of advice for flip phone lovers!!! Don't get the 8500 either. It is a make believe flip phone. It is still pretty heavy (compared to others in its class) but more than anything it is stubby and awkward to use.
