what about comedic horror movies?Aug 13 '02 Write an essay on this topic.The Bottom Line I could probably go on and on, but these all come to mind when I think of this genere. Ive decided to write a list of some of the funnier gore/horror movies. You know, the ones that make you laugh, but at the same time have some pretty sick scenes. I'll briefly go over some of my favorites. 1. The Convent A group of teens search an abondoned convent, only to find a group of demonic nuns trying to revive the antichrist. This is a must see! It has it all, nuns on fire, devil worshippers and some very funny scenes. Go watch this now!!! 2. Dead Alive/ Braindead I noticed this is on the top of alot of peoples list. This has one of the goriest scenes i have ever seen in a movie.Peter jackson is the greatest director in my book. Do not miss this movie! 3.Terror Firmer I havent seen too many troma movies on this list, but this is true cheese! Lots of gore, nudity,and fart jokes. Its a movie about trome filming a movie, and people are dying.Check out the escalator scene. 4. Ravenous A group of army personnel are stationed on a post in the california mountains. A old man shows up one night and tells them about how his whole crew got eaten. well, lets just say this is a movie about cannibalism :) 5. Ginger snaps A teenage girl is going through adulthood, and a werewolf bites her. Her and her sister are trying to cope with it, and her father tells her the hairy palms are a sign of her growing up. 6. American psycho I loved this movie. A yuppie gone mad killing people. Or did he? 7. Bad Taste Another jackson film. This was his first film and definately a good one. Aliens are turning humans into the supergalatic fast food chain. This movie has one that still makes me cringe to this day. 8. The frightners I dont really know if this is really considered a horror movie, but it was good. Another one of peter jacksons fine films! Death is coming to a little town, and Micheal J Fox is the only one who can see him. 9. The class of Nukem high A school next to a nuclear power plant.. power plant leaks... Radio active students... Troma... Chaos ensues 10. The toxic avenger Geek falls into vat of radioactive waste.... Turns into radioactive superhero...troma... Chaos ensues you could also try Versus an excellent japanese splat movie, tons of gore here. Subtitled. Oh yeah, zombies with guns Dead alive 1,2, or 3 (army of darkness) I couldnt figure witch one to choose, so ill choose em all.. IF you have never seen them, shame on you, go watch them now!!!  |
