This wireless keyboard/mouse combo is a good product, though at this price there are going to be good and bad things about it.

Keyboard, pluses: light, comfortable, plenty of room for customization, useful hotkeys. Minuses: Some odd button layout. Personally, I also miss a dedicated standby button, a function which this keyboard doesn't have. It can't be mapped to a hotkey, either.

Mouse, pluses: Optical, feels pretty solid and steady. Minuses: It eats batteries fairly quick. This doesn't really bother me because I figured out that a pack of alkaline batteries from the dollar store work just as well as more expensive ones. Paying 50 cents for batteries every few weeks isn't so tough. I just keep them on hand.

All in all, it's a decent package. BTW, I estimate range at about 15 feet. Works for me.
