Pros:excellent tech support, nice monitor
Cons:not quite a state of the art system
The Bottom Line: Great tech support for you beginners, but a bad system for the future.

With all the great deals going on with computers right now, I can't understand how this is supposed to be one. It has sub-par processing speed, ram, video, and hard drive space. It also only comes with a CD-ROM, when newer computers are starting to have DVD burners. A price tag of two grand pretty much makes me want to turn the other cheek and run. Everything is not all bad though. This computer comes with a great 17" monitor that can be viewed from long distances away. Then we come to the keyboard. There is just something about these keyboards that I love. All the fancy buttons and lights anyone could ever want. The greatest thing you will get with a Dell Dimension XPS T500 would have to be the tech support. If you have any questions, comments, or if your computer has exploded they will come and fix it or talk you though fixing over the phone. The phone menu is great to. Dealing with tech support in the past, with other companies has left a sour taste in my mouth. Dell has an easy to use phone menu, and I waited three minutes to talk with someone who was more than helpful in taking care of my problem. My problem if you are curious was that my monitor was acting up (zig zag lines, and random quiting) Turns out that my cable was not properly secured to the back. Silly me. This problem was taken care of quickly and I was left feeling better about myself. Even with this great tech support story I am still not going to recommend this computer. Why would anyone buy a computer for the tech support?
