In my opinion, all snowboarding games are excellent, but something just didn't sit well with me as I played SSX. The controls were easy to learn because of the tutorial, but they were hard to use in the actual gameplay. The graphics were superb, and I can find nothing wrong with the sound from this game. I did have trouble with the loading time of this game. Every time it seemed that if it switched to a new menu screen, it would have to load. It would get ridiculous after a while to sit there and see what the worth of the trick upgrades were, since you would have just seen them two minutes before that. And still it would have to load before every race with this same dumb screen.
