I have ordered a 3 year subscription for a magazine in June 2006... When I've received my first issue in July, the expiration date was for 2007 instead of 2009... After many phone calls and e-mails, I've noticed that the expiration date was changed to 2008, so I'm still missing one year... I've e-mailed and called numerous times... I've called my credit card company and have requested that I get some money back as the company is not giving me what I'vew paid for... So now, here I am 5 months later, and I am still out one year on my 3 year subscription...
Just the other day I've received this e-mail from MagsOnTheNet... Boy, do they suck!!! And they keep on making up new lies, which sometimes are very creative... Obviously, this is their M.O., as there are many other post by many other people claiming the same thing--->that they've paid for 2 or 3 years of a magazine and are only getting one or two years delivered... I can't believe they are still being allowed to rob people...
IMPORTANT CUSTOMER SERVICE NOTICE
November 22nd, 2006
Dear Dee Cee,
Recently, our Company realized that due to technical problems with our email service provider, our computers have been blocking many of our incoming and outgoing e-mails. Therefore, we havent been able to give our customers the appropriate customer service which they are accustom to and deserve. We do apologize but this issue was not known to us until this week. Nevertheless, we would like to take care of everyones order and make sure that you walk away satisfied. In order to do so, we ask that you please fill out the status form (http://magsonthenet.com/order-status.html) and e-mail it to us as soon as possible. The reason why this is necessary is because we are deleting all e-mails, as we cannot differentiate between the ones that have been responded to and the ones that havent. We hope that this time, we will be able to get back to you in a timely fashion, which is what our goal was before this unfortunate glitch occurred. In the event that your particular issue has already been resolved, please ignore this email and accept our deepest apologies. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. As way of expressing our apologies and our appreciation for your continued patronage, please use the following coupon code for a whopping 15% discount on all future orders: COMP15. It is valid on all titles on the site (new subscriptions and renewals) and can be used on multiple orders. Feel free to pass on to family and friends so that they can enjoy the savings as well.
Please Note: As it states on our website, it generally takes 8-12 weeks for the first issue to arrive. We send all orders out within a week of receiving them. The publishers generally print labels for 2 issues in advance. Weekly publications start arriving in approximately 4-8 weeks, monthly publications in 6-12 weeks and magazines with less issues can take a bit longer. Rest assured that this does not affect the number of issues you will receive. Your subscription officially starts when you receive your first copy and your expiration on the label will reflect this. If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to contact me at any time and thank you for ordering with MagsOnTheNet.
