Pros:Cheap, just a regular phone company.
Cons:Deceptive ,bad customer service and untruthful.
The Bottom Line: Bigtime Scammers! If you're going to get a telephone company you could do a lot better.
We have (Or maybe had should be the case pretty soon, if they don't buck up their idea's.) the Verizon regular phone service and we found them to be okay but you always have to go over the bill with a fine toothed comb because this company likes making mistakes and such and I was being charged for phone calls to the Bahamas when they should have been special rate to England!
I liked Verizon until this week when we recieved a bill with $25 added for a service that was being offered with "NO CHARGE.". At first we told them that we didn't want the service but were called back later THE SAME WEEK and offered it again and we were told that the service had "NO CHARGE." and that the service would not change our bill in any way, so we decided to give it a whirl. What could we lose, right?
So this week we get the bill and see these charges, and so my wife calls them and speaks to a rep. The Rep tells my wife that because she used call waiting twice that we must pay the bill. So I got the phone and asked to talk to a supervisor, because usually the monkeys don't grind the organ! So I told this supervisor the situation to which he was a total %6@# about the whole thing. So I got his name and Employee # and all company info and sent it to the better business bureau.
The whole thing was a scam as far as I'm considered and the company can not do business this way. This was deception at it's finest. The rep. said "NO CHARGE." and in my book that means "NO CHARGE." and $25 is a little steep for 2 call waiting replies.
