Amazing Customer Service, Professional Site, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I can not say enough great things about this site. I did a lot of searching for motorcycle gear, and this is the best place I've found anywhere for motorcycle apparel. Here is why I am so impressed.
Products and Prices
The focus of PowerSportEquipment.com is definitely apparel. They have a fantastic selection from a good range of brands and seem to have a particular focus on helmets. They also have a small parts section that includes some luggage, exhaust, and seat accessories. The prices on their apparel are fantastic. When I was searching, I generally found items to be in a $10 range as I went from site to site. This site, however, had all the gear I wanted as much as 25% less than anywhere else. I was shocked to come across such a professional site with prices that were so superior. A great find!
Layout
The site is professional looking, with navigation bars to speed the searching process. The top navigation bar has dropdown menus that let you go immediately to the brand of item you're looking for. Unfortunately, you can not browse all of the items in a certain category. If, for example, you want to look at helmets, you can choose a helmet brand right from the homepage, but you'll have to make another selection if you want to see another brand. There is no search feature. This lack seems like a bigger deal on sites with a wider range of products, though, and the navigation bars make jumping to the next brand easy enough that you won't want to shake somebody. It's very easy to find the different areas of their site from anywhere in the site. It's really nice to not have to hit back again and again to return to a page with decent links.
Product descriptions aren't the most technically descriptive, lacking some of the info you'd find on a manufacturer's or competitor's site. The descriptions do include nice pictures and sizing charts, however, which are useful. I recommend finding things in retail stores and trying them on, though. I find that I tend to underestimate what size I need.
Shipping, Services, and Guarantees
PowerSportEquipment has a section of the site devoted just to shipping and return information. Every time I've visited this site, they've been offering free shipping on orders over $75. I assure you that most apparel costs much more than this, so I was guaranteed free shipping They report that most items ship within 24 hours, but that some will take 3-4 days if they have to come from "the warehouse." My order was pretty diverse and shipped on the first business day after I placed the order.
Assuming the typical return conditions (unused, original packaging, etc), you have your choice of making a return for a store credit or a refund minus 10% restock charge. This is great in case you order the wrong item or wrong size (see below in Experience). They also include this statement: "Unexpected delays caused by a manufacturer can result in a delay. The PowerSportEquipment.com System will automatically notify you as soon as we are made aware of any delay in the fulfillment of your order."
They really work to make your shopping experience convenient. You can order online at any time or by phone on M-F, 1:00-7:00 CST. They also offer Live Help via chat M-F, 8:00-5:00 CST. Also, they are located in Hutchinson, Kansas, and you can just pick your order up at their office if you want.
Experience
What really makes this site special to me is the fantastic customer service with an obvious commitment to customer satisfaction. I'll just tell you what they did for me, and you'll understand what I mean. On a Saturday morning, I placed an order that included a helmet, a pair of riding pants, a riding jacket, and a pair of gloves. On Monday afternoon, I received a call from the store. A very polite representative told me that the pants I had ordered (Joe Rocket Stage One Pant) were on backorder because of a manufacturer shortage. She offered to ship the rest of the order immediately or to hold the order until the pants were available. Very anxious to have my gear as soon as possible, I asked that she go ahead and ship the rest. She apologized for the trouble and told me the stuff would ship that day. I received an email order confirmation and tracking info about 3 hours later! I picked out my replacement pants, and ordered them, and they were also shipped the same day as everything else!
All of my gear had arrived by Wednesday, when I realized I had made a mistake. The helmet that I though fit well when I tried it in the store was actually too tight after a couple minutes of wearing it. I was very frustrated that I hadn't realized it, and decided to call and see what they could do for me. I explained what had happened and I asked what their return policy is. She said that the typical procedure would be for me to send it back, and then after processing, they could send me another helmet. When I asked if there was anything else that could get it there faster, she offered to ship my larger helmet immediately using my credit card as a sort of collateral. That's what I did, and I had my helmet two days later! They processed my return very quickly, and I the whole process was less than two weeks. I still can't believe that I changed my order and then got a different size helmet all within one week! I didn't have to call to find out why my order didn't ship, I didn't have to jump through hoops to return my helmet, and I never felt like was inconveniencing the representatives. Superb Customer Service!
I've been recommending PowerSportEquipment.com to every rider I know. They really do things right, focusing on running a quality business by refusing to sacrifice service for efficiency. BUY HERE!
