The Bottom Line A little poem written for my beautiful wife.
When I first met you I was mesmerized... Like in a lucid dream your eyes saw me. I gave you all I could you gave me so much more I know now what a fool I was but you knew better; your eyes saw me. The times we laughed, the times we cried through it all I still wonder, am I deserving of your gaze? Your eyes saw me. I needed space, I needed time, you waited patiently your eyes saw me. Through our struggles we find strength, on the wings of our hopes we can fly far away... I truly am lucky your eyes saw me. Mine saw you too.  |
