Blockbuster Online is becoming more like NetFlix with regard to "throttling" or slowing down shipment of your next movie. I live 35 miles from Blockbuster's distribution center in Denver. I am a member of both NetFlix and Blockbuster Online. Netflix transit time is one day consistantly. Blockbuster takes 1-3 days to ship a movie. Blockbuster states when you exchange an online movie at a blockbuster store, your account is credited immediately and your next movie will ship the next business day.Not true. It typically takes Blockbuster 2-3 days to realize that you have turned in your movie to the store. They will then take 2 more days to ship your next selection. That slowdown increases their profit margin and limits the number of movies you have out at one time. Yes, they call it "unlimited". Joining Blockbuster Online is workable for about two months before the slowdown occurs. Count on good service for 6-8 weeks and then quit.

The new Total Access feature is the best! Unless Netflix lowers its prices substantially, I think I will stick with Blockbuster.com permanently. It's going to be tough for Netflix to compete with an offer like this.
