um, i severely doubt the veracity of this statement. i think what you meant is that you know almost all the songs played on mtv in recent years. don't worry it's not just you; i don't think anyone knows even 10% of all songs released in a given year.
did you just say "dirrty" is "incredibly good"? oh man... i can't believe redman would collab with ms. aguilera and rehash "let's get dirty". for shame.

Ha ha, loved reading this, especially as a British guy.
I've always thought that the likes of Britney, Christina, BSB etc: were just lightweight, throwaway pap.
The Van Hagar comment was very funny; for me Van Halen (with David Lee Roth) were the greatest Rock band that America has ever produced so to see them spend years in the wilderness with Sammy Hagar on vocals was a bit of a let down.
Great stuff.

...we both chose to pit Britney and Christina against each other. Nothing could be hotter than seeing two hot blondes that hate each other go at it. But, I don't get why Christina hates Brit either. It's the backlash against Britney that raised her own popularity. Women just can't be explained.
