Pros: Good design with enough power for even the IT Pro.
Cons: Tech Support it poor!
The Bottom Line: Since its recent change in ownership I would not recommend any Micron computer. There service has become poor even for large corporate users.

Althought the base product is pretty good there are a few significat product issues.
First, the laptop screen is not as rugged as it appears. Although it has a metal back I have had numerous problems with the screen.
Next, the laptop only has a touchpad. I have found this is a problem for many laptop users since it is quite sensative to "single-clicks."
Finally, the produc support is less than stellar. I have purchased about 100 systems for work from Micron and have found that their support is weak. Each time I call for service there is no record of most of the laptops, resulting in a lack of warrenty support, and I often call my corporate sales represenative to force appropriate support. This is obviously a much larger issue for individual users and small companies without a rep assignment.
Additinally, I have recoginzed a number of service issues in recent weeks since Micron sold their PC business.
At this point I would steer clear of Micron.
