Nonshipment, lies from customer service, BAD

I placed an order with Yves Rocher on 11/5/06. It is now 11/29/06 and I still do not have my order. Customer service has been prompt to send me automated emails (11/20) that are not true and on the phone (11/29) they "could not find my order" upon asking why I would get a reply telling me my order was stuck in customs and had been released a week ago if I had no order in the system, they 'suddenly' found my order and indicated it had been reordered. I asked why that would be if, as the automated email said my order was released from customs and should be there any day. The response was dead silence.
Why would they replace an order that was 'released from customs' already? That would mean 2 packages are now supposedly on the way. Why would they not inform the customer that this was going on?
When I explained that I had ordered for a gift and obviously it was not going to be here by 12/2 I needed to cancel my order I was informed that it was "processing" and could not be canceled and I would have to refuse the shipment and they would credit me back. Since I work and am not at home to "refuse" shipments I am going to have a delightful time trying to sort out this mess. STAY FAR, FAR AWAY from Yves Rocher.
