The Bottom Line I want to spread the word to anyone born on September 11th. Be glad for the LIFE you are given.
He was born on September 11, 2001 at 12:52 am weighing in at 4 lbs. 3 oz. He wasn't perfect physically because he had a heart problem. They didn't think he'd live. But he did. He was strong willed and a mighty fighter. He has some way to go but he'll make it. My friend's baby boy is one year old today. About 8 hours later when he came into the world last year, a tragedy happened and death and destruction filled the air. baby Zack was fighting for his life. His parents prayed for their dear baby boy. Then his parents prayed for the dear people who lost their lives in the worst disaster of the 21st century. Like Columbine, they prayed. Today brought tears to my eyes. Today was the one year anniversary of the deaths of many loved ones both in the United States and other countries too. As they honored these dear people, I too honored them by keeping my headlights on each time I used my vehicle during the day. When I came home I called my friend and had him put my lil pal on the phone. I wished Zackery a Happy First Birthday. His parents are grateful they have Zach. But they are sad for the ones who died the day their son was born. After calling my lil pal as I call him. I watched the tv and saw the rememberances of the dear people who lost their lives during our country's worst disaster of this century. After tv, I called my friend again just to say hello. I asked him what I've been wanting to ask him all year but never could, how he felt that Zack's birthday fell on the day of the attack. What my friend said is well worth mentioning here. "John," he said, "There is life then there is death. When we are born, we are marked. If it was meant for Zack to go, he would have went but thank God he lived so we could celebrate life."
