Or maybe "Oxo Test Kitchen". Sometimes buying the "very best" is wasted money, in kitchens, shops or anywhere.

I didn't list Craftsman as a favorite because of their power tools. Except for Kobalt, I have mostly Craftsman hand tools as well. Their warranty is honored without question and I seldom have to use it because the tools are good.

is very like the advice I would give for buying kitchen equipment -- I've experienced the same changes in my philosophy: cheap stuff to top-of-the-line stuff to what works best under the circumstances.

Hmmmmm . . . should I start calling the kitchen "My Workshop"? ;)
