Outstanding review. When I'm in a bookstore I usually read the Op-Ed page of the Journal, but I really don't have enough money or financial concerns to merit getting it delivered...maybe that's WHY I have no money?

best paper in America (Reply to this comment)

The Journal is the best paper in America. Your review will save me the trouble of writing one, since it's word for word my take on the paper. The business and market news is the best around, and that pugnacious Op-ed page is a godsend in a culture filled with the pusillanimous, dishonest reporting of flagship papers like the New York Times. I also like the Tuesday career section within Marketplace.
I live in New York City, and I read the Journal every day for news on business and the world. When I want to read about the Yankees or about local stories that the Times may not wish to report, I read the NY Post. Basically, there is no reason for me to read the NY Times, the old Grey Lady of reactionary liberalism, preaching to the converted and condescending to the rest.

I'm not a fan of the Tribune either, but I'd be willing to bet its business and finance writers have at least a cursory knowledge of the CAPM...
