I am very satisfied with the hosting of my site with Websolo.com. They appear to be going by the name APlus.Net now, but service, and prices have remained the same.
Their prices and bandwidth allowances were what caught my eye, but their service and dependability have kept my business.
The prices for website hosting are from $6.95 to $29.95 a month, with various options. Great, competitive prices!
They allow unlimited bandwidth and 500mb of webspace for most basic packages. That flies!
I've experienced no downtime that I am aware of, and my connection is always good whether its 56k or cable modem access.
The only 2 drawbacks I know of are "one", that they have a time guarantee which can't realistically be met if you are transferring your site from another host, as it takes some time for the registrar to release your site, etc.
But the site availability is immediate upon that transfer.
And "two", I do feel the email control panels are a bit lacking. You can't set up the forwards yourself online, you have to phone them to have that done. Minimal problem.
Some great added benefits are 24/7 phone support, a domain name availability check on the site, and Merchant Server option.
They do support Front Page and Front Page 2000 extensions and of course, have CGI, SSI and image map compatibility.
BONUS - which I almost forgot, since it didn't apply to me, since I was transferring my already paid for domain- they pay your domain registration fee for most plans! This is probably due to their relationship with Names4ever.com, and a great added bonus!
I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a webhost.
