The Bottom Line Out of a lot of schemnes, I find most of them. Save yourself the aggravation and learn from mine.

Okay, here’s another negative article, including a VERY BIG warning. If you are looking for a Web host, what your rumpy roast. Most importantly, make sure they have a satisfaction guarantee BEFORE you pay.

So here I am , searching for the best deal on hosting solutions. I really had no clue what I was looking for. I knew what I wanted to do with the Website, I needed something that allowed unlimited visitors and could hold a lot of space. I continuously saw the same prices. The average was $8.95 per month for what I wanted. Then, I found Heaven with a big mix of Hell. Http://www.edatarack.com

For $30.00 I could get what I wanted and then some. Most of which I didn’t even understand but asked an intelligent friend. He said it was a darn good deal. Great!!! I found Web hosting, banner free, dirt cheap. I got what I paid for.

At first, I payed. I received an email stating I needed a domain name for them to set it up.
I already had a Website, so this would be no problem, right. Hehehehhehe. Wrong again.
After 3 days and numerous emails I finally find out that the Website Domain name I have is a Sub domain and cannot be used. Why three days? Well the length of reply to get back to me took that long. I had to email them SEVERAL times to find out what I actually needed and wait each time for over 24 hours for a response. Aggravation??? You bet.

They provide absolutely NO phone number, either toll free or pay. This is getting much better isn’t it? So after the domain name was fixed, I needed the email from Edata Rack Stating that my site was up and I could upload to it. Never got that one. So I tried logging in to my control panel for the Website myself to check. YEAH, I could LOG IN. That’s a joke.

So here we are now to a week later and I can’t log in. There was no password, log in retrieval, I just kept getting error messages. The light bulb was going off and I smelled some rotten fish. So I go to the Help screen. LOL. I couldn’t access that either, not without my username and password, that again was never sent to me. Customer service stated it was available for all your needs 24/7. Well it was IF you could get into the HELP screen I guess.

At this point my only option was to WAIT until Monday to email SALES. I could do nothing else without my login info. That’s when I said screw this. If it was this bad now, it was only going to get worse. I actually had common sense. (first time for everything)

So on Monday, I send an email to sales stating I wanted to act on the 15 day guarantee, get my money refunded in full, and that I was completely dissatisfied with the lack of customer support. Kindly, I get a email with lightning fast speed, well two actually. Both with my user id and password. Better late ten never right? Wrong again. I wanted to cancel and that was it.

The same night around 11:00 PM I get a call from someone named Paul about my cancellation request. He talks to my boyfriend who has no clue about any of this for over 15 minutes. My boyfriend tries to cut him off and he keeps rambling.

Now I am really ticked. He knew I was on the East Coast, calling that late, and not speaking with me. My boyfriend asked for a phone number and he said he didn’t have one. HEHEHEH. I had it, on my Caller ID.

So at this point I knew I was right with my accusations and decided this Paul guy, whoever he was was thick. So I promptly sent him another email. I wish to cancel. Please provide me with my money. Is this so hard to understand? If they didn’t want to loose me the situation should’ve been handled much better.

After that email, I get a response from them, unsigned as usual, stating that I was given my log on, blah, blah, and if I wanted to cancel I would have my money back in 3-5 days. I am STILL waiting, but I haven’t ran out of time.

This was a business Website. With all that is above do you actually think they would help me if I had a problem after I got it up and running? I signed up fro their Business starter plan. I was being taken advantage off. They knew they didn’t send me my login name. They didn’t send it until AFTER I requested a cancellation, then I was accused of already having it. Talk about customer satisfaction. My ASSumption was correct.

So, the purpose, Edata Rack is a risk. If you would like to deal with the above, sign up. I got what I paid for, but that lesson was learned by me a while ago. I guess I am just a dumb blonde. LOL.

Material that I wanted to uncover:

1. If it looks to good it probably is.

2. Make SURE that you cna get your $$$ back if disatisfied.
