The Bottom Line Once you realize they list "sold out" flights, the site does do a great job of showing the different flight legs.

I searched high and low for the best airfare to Vegas and I was extremely happy once I came across Orbitz. It had the cheapest flights around for my weekend getaway to Vegas.
Only after I made arrangements with all of my friends and had them choose the flight selections that Orbitz provided me with, I came to realize that the flights that were shown had no "select" icon next to them and therefore were unavailable. Correct me if I am wrong, but why on earth would a web-site show flights that are sold out? I thought that this site was completely misleading and made it appear that these flights were available to be purchased.
Disappointed as I was, I ended up paying an extra $40-$50 for 9 tickets to Vegas! I knew that I would have to pay the extra price than the original price that was quoted (because the flight wasn't available).
I guess I learned my lesson and will have to realize that just because a flight leg is listed at a low price, doesn't necessarily mean that is is available.
