Roxy had her surgery last week. She made the decision for us, she had three episodes of her heart stopping for as long as ten seconds each, in one night. She is recovering beautifully and I am just so grateful to have her. If she makes it through the next three weeks without disturbing the wire or getting an infection she'll be better than she's ever been. I call her the Bionic Pug now. Thank you for your concern. I LOVED the doctor we took her to if anyone needs a referal.

I wish you all the best with your pug. It is not an easy time. Is she scheduled soon? If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Thank you for sharing your story. I am going through the same situation with my 8 year old pug dog. Your description of the events that warranted the pacemaker are exactly what is happening to my dog and reading this helped me decide to go ahead with the surgery. Thank you.

Stoney sounds like a wonderful companion, love the image of the 3 year old puppy racing around the house!

Animals are fantastic.

Hope you have many more years together.
Christine.

What a beautiful story. I fell in love with both Sarg and Stoney and was so happy to hear that the pacemaker has been such a help in her life.

I think you coped beautifully. I'm sure I would have cracked up completely worrying about my dog in that situation.

I wish you'd write another one and tell us the incidents that led up to Sarg's finally accepting Stoney. So sad how he moped while she was gone.

Thanks for a wonderful trip into dogland.
